(From Richard McCutcheon) The pool "opening" took place on Saturday, May 24^th. There was a barbecue and a get together for the opening, and there was a great turnout as can be seen by the pictures.  Don Williamson gave a speech about how it came about and then turned it over to Lorraine Hanson. Lorraine gave a speech of how it started out as a 6-week project and turned into a 3-year project with 5 different contractors being involved in the redoing of the pool.  They had to have the pool redone, and then all the deck was torn out and replaced with new concrete.  Then they redid all the bathrooms, had a fence installed all around it, and finally made the pool accessible for the handicapped.  - Richard McCutcheon
